@SuperBounty94 No, even with him the song still sounds good. Even Rebecca Black couldn't kill this song.

Very creative and very nicely done. However, it sounds like you've used a very low quality timestretcher. There are some pretty good ones available today, try search for them. Btw, try contacting the record company of each artist for acapellas - That should also be better than extracting them from a mix.

@odyssey5555 Thanks, you've got an ear for this. Both the Baby and Fireflies pellas were stretched with Adobe Premiere (which is primarily a video editor and has subpar audio editing)...and the Fireflies track was stretched about 45% :-/ I've since gotten some better audio software and rarely stretch beyond 10-15%, which is where I start to hear heavier distortion.

What program did you use to get the samples? or did you buy the sections of each song?

@MidwestMentalities I use Audacity and Adobe Audition to extract the different acapellas, but I was able to find an instrumental version of "In My Head" online, so I edited that one for use in the mashup.

Is it legal?

@LPSManiac98 Yes, it's a derivative work protected under the fair use doctrine and can be distributed non-commercially (meaning I can share it as long as I don't charge for it).
