( http://www.EverymanTri.com ) Do you want to train and recover the same way as many the professionals do today. If so, check out this video review as Dave Erickson tests the Compex Muscle Stimulator. Dave used the Compex Muscle Stimulator pre, post, and even as an alternative to strength workouts three times a week and filed this video review.

  • As far as targeting the pecks, these devices should never be used near the heart. If you've seen people use devices like this on the chest - its because they're idiots.

  • @GuilhermeEick Fail.

  • all you are doing when using electro stimulation, is you are numbing the nerves or frying them.

also you are reducing the sensation in touch and feeling.

  • @GuilhermeEick because he obviously just opened it...

  • This takes out the fun of going the gym, also not to mention the cost. A gym membership is also alot cheaper, If you want to build muscle do it the good old fashioned way with elbow grease, alot of effort and sweat, at least then you can honestly say you put the effort in to get your results.

  • DO NOT place these on the pecks. Your heart is a muscle...do the math.

  • thats awsome! will u buy me one?

  • @AmeishGi THANHKS! I'll check it out :)

  • @Raina430 I've bought on ebay for 100EUR simple old Sport-2 model and have almost every benefit of it. Warm up way ahead of hockey game, train unused muscle, relax overused ones and so on. Recommend.

  • @romanmica Just so you know, the reason the book doesn't mention putting the electrodes on the chest would be the fact that your heart is inches away. People have had heart complications bc it's like a low power defibrillator. ;)

  • Sport model is very well suited for pros, just has fewer functions.

Warmup and recovery are overall the most popular functions in all models.
