Hi David..I live in Canada and have to deal with a good bit of ice and snow.What are your thoughts about winter riding.I dont shoe my horses but many people use studded shoes to deal with ice and snow.Thanks for any thoughts you may have to offer.

@NewfieSherry Like anything else,, one it depends on how much ice.. Well if I was doing alot of winter riding and had to deal with ice I would either wear studded shoes on a horse or polo shoes which has a rim on the inside of the shoe.If you are riding and just dealing with snow it isnt as important.

p.s.@13.25 just when he cocked his head towards you and his right ear was on you if you had turned your left shoulder across him and walked away I think he would have followed you.

You can tell that horse wouldn't give to pressure on his nose cause it's got a ewe neck.Hope the rider is ok .
