Indie rock, punk rock, hip-hop, doesn't matter. Its music. Its expression. Its Lupe. Its ill. Most artists wish that they were real enough to freely express themselves without worrying about "record sales" or "reputation." If you don't like it, keep your mind closed and don't listen. Personally, this album is better than 90% of the watered-down, commercial, bullshit thats floating around out there. Takes me back to the Rage Against the Machine days.
