This video contains video and photos of my hike from Mammoth Lakes to Vermillion Valley Resort. After a rest day at the Motel 6 in Mammoth it was back on the trail. I fixed my sternum strap, purchased a couple of days worth of food, and caught the bus up to Devil's Postpile NP. I hiked to Purple Lake and camped on the East side of the lake by myself. The next day I hiked to Lake Virginia, Tully Hole, Fish Creek, up over Silver Pass, and all the way to the VVR ferry landing. I camped there for the night with a couple of hikers, and caught the ferry in the morning. I spent that day resting at VVR for the final push to Whitney. Enjoy the video!

Edison Lake is a great spot. I've car camped there about 5 times. Spent 4 days there one time in my own little spot just me and the dog. I've taken my kids up there individually camping and the wife too. Takes me about 4 hours to drive there from Fresno. Would like to take the ferry over and hike and spend a night out there.
