ELLA FITZGERALD: Ella was the grande dame of American Song - "The First Lady of American Song. She was simply the best.
Great purity of tone in a beautiful sweet voice. We have not seen anyone who compares to dear Ella in my 65 + Years.
Please understand. There are other great female vocalists. But Ella was in a class by herself!! Unique, Beautiful and Memorable!
