  • @lovecraft57 What a great redboard story. Please post your picks prior to the BC classic next time

  • We were at this race, and the track was a dsiaster area. Ovrcrowded madhouse, made betting almost impossible.

  • I had told my husband all week that it was going to be long shots in the top three positions. I told him that it was going to be Cat Thief 1st with Budroyale 2nd and Golden Missile 3rd and Lemon Drop Kid 4th. To bad he didn't bet the way I told him but he did get me my win ticket. To this day he has yet to live down that Classic..

  • i remember winning the exata on this race

  • Cat Thief had the credentials. He has a very impressive blood-line.

I remember watching this race on TV and being thrilled at his run.

  • really loove golden missile

  • I had forgot all about BudRoyale! He is a full brother to Tiznow. Cee's Tizzy and Cee's Song sure had a great three year run at the Classic! I guess I had better lay some money on Colonel John this year!

  • I had been a big fan of Cat Thief that whole year. He was a horse that didn't win very often but he was usually in the money. When he turned the corner for home I thought he was done, but Pat Day got him to fight back to win by over a length.
