Once again I caught up with Linda Eisner, founder and developer of Pencil me In Pencil and this time with her daughter Stephanie. There are upcoming exciting formulation coming up with their line, so I interviewed them during the show. EnJoy!

  • I hate to be a nay-sayer but those ladies' makeup was horrible. I couldn't tell what color the daughter's eye makeup was supposed to be and the rest of her face looked totally unmade up in a bad way, not a natural beauty way. The mother with the harsh black line underneath and that pale almost white eyeliner above needs to work on her theories a bit more. Truly they both would have benefitted immensely from Enkore doing their makeup.

  • They look like the pencils that coastal scents sold and discontinued several months ago....Sounds like a bunch of crap to me. Vitamins in you eyeliner?...get real!

  • I wouldn't even sharpen it. The cap itself has a razor edge, and just pulling it out leaves a sharp ridge. And its a waste of time and money to have to resharpen it, just to smooth it out.

When I tried smudging it, and trust me, I've done it as soon as I finish drawing it, the liner just lifts and gets pulled away with the smudger. The liner is just wiped off! And it's not the smudger, because I still use it and it works perfectly fine with most eyeliners.

  • All of the harsh irritating ingredients have also been removed from the formula and were replaced with nuturents and vitamins. The pencils are allergy and clinically tested to be non-irritating, eco-friendly, tamperproof and hygienic. Great for contact lens wearers.

  • If you sharpen anything wrong you have the potential to hurt yourself. Initially right after application the color can be smudged. Once the color sets it will stay put all day. Isn't that what we all want!

  • 13 shades out of the 30 shades that pencil me in has is now petroleum and paraben free. All of the colors will be introduced this way soon

  • The eye area actually absorbs nutrients very quickly so you really do get a benefit by having anti-oxidants in a product that is applied in the eye area.

  • i like her nails :)

  • mississippigirl99 Coastal Scents do not make the products they sell. For instance, the palettes (120 and 88 shadow palettes) are made in China and the manufacturer sells even in Ebay. As for the pencils, yes, these are the pencils that Coastal Scents used to sell. They are good pencils to use as a base but they are no good for the waterline. These people (Pencil me in) are the manufacturers and not Coastal Scents.
