    And I Thank GOD that doesn't happen anymore!

    Like I said, school officials are not allowed to LEAD in prayer anymore. But there's NOTHING stopping students having their own personal prayers or prayer groups after school. Perfectly legal.

    And frankly, that's the way it should be.

    A school is for EDUCATION.

    Not INDOCTRINATION.

    You want your child to learn about religion, then you take your own kid to church.

    School (especially public funded) is for education. Math, Science, Grammar, History.

    There was a time where the Bible was read every morning and the teachers and class together had group prayer. That is not the case anymore.
