  • Do you use the Okko Gain + on any of your albums?

  • @samldr1984 yes, on the Harriet Lewis CD, and on the upcoming CD - hope next year!

  • These 50's and 60's tributes are amazing guitars for their price.

Check out an 11 year old playing his gold top 60's tribute and judge for yourselves.

Look for "Soft rock eléctrico" (guitarrista de 11 años)

    :)

  • so how much different is this guitar in sound and playability from the 56 VOS? And general quality?

  • @GregsGuitar Thanks for the videos. I have a 2011 60's cherryburst and love the sound. The playability is great. It is fun to see someone that can play them well. I enjoy your tone, phrasing and style. You have peaked my interest in the diablo pedal. I am looking for that tone.

    Enjoy Life! Keep Jamming!

  • Good show... your body language while playing almost bests that sweet sweet tone.

  • @figonapetter

My $2500 Historic '56 Goldtop has a plastic jackplate, FYI. Not a big deal to upgrade if you think you'll bust it. These Tributes are pretty damn close to getting the same tones, esp. if you get to choose a really sweet one. You are saving a HUGE amount of money and getting a very good guitar, much better than other Studios, IMO.

  • The P90 better or other Gibson humbucker (57 classic Burstbucker Pro etc). What do you think? Great playing and tasty sound!

  • is it hard to play like you? I'm a noob LOL but love to learn to play guitar. You rock man.

  • Very nice

  • Greg which guitar do you thing is better? This or Faded Studio?I prefer which is the most comfortable.TNX

  • does it sound good with a distorted setting?

  • @diamondrhyme

I've tried one.To be honest, the 60's Goldtop looks and feels like a toy guitar in real.Litteraly light as a feather, the worn finnish is not very nice, and for the first time with Gibson I saw a PLASTIC jack plate wtf? That plate can break if not sat down gently. You'll have to buy a hard case if you want one, theres just a gig bag included. The one I tried was set up bad so can't say much about playability, and I didn't plug it in. Think twice before buying this "amazing" guitar

  • Er hang on. Looks like they only come "worn" ??

Too bad, that's a no no for me :(
