@1993MovieMan You missed the joke I was making. Alberta and British Columbia are two separate provinces. Sorry, I guess it wasn't as funny as I thought.

Edmonton is in Alberta, which is in Western Canada, but British Columbia is a separate province on the west coast.

@samurphy Nope , he`s from Edmonton , Alberta , British Columbia , Canada . John Byrne chose Edmonton as Logan`s birthplace becuse Byrne himself was raised there . However even before this revelation , Logan was already long since established as a proud Canadian ( though not so much of the Canadian government for obvious reasons ) . He was briefly portrayed as American but due to backlash from Canadian fans of The Character , he was quickly retconned back to Canadian .

This is the reason why I was so confused when I started reading X-Men comics. I was trying to figure out, if he's Canadian, why did he have that Aussie accent in the Spider-Man cartoon??
