Michael John - From A Distant Source

Live performance on my Yamaha Motif XS6. (playing with original recorded material) This is a composition that I wrote in 2006 and decided to make a new mix and video. (Youtube should play this video in stereo,if not let me know).

MUSIC CONCEPT:
God created the magnificent universe, and an extraordinary planet for us to live on. A unique and special planet that can sustain life, and is dependent on the universe around it- the sun, the solar system, and even the galaxy in which we live. Distant forces from God created and sustain our life. We developed modern technology to reach out to each other in distant places. Eventually, I'm sure, one day we'll reach out to the stars. If they hear us, then we will be the distant source.

PRODUCTION DETAILS:
All instruments are Yamaha XS except drums, which is Ezdrummer

YAMAHA XS VOICES:
Synth1:Vicious Dogs (with added portamento)
Synth2: Space Power Lead
Bass Synth: Boogie A LeggatoAF1RB
Pad1:Trance MW
Pad2:W Phaser
Drums: Ezdrummer (with midi patten from Fantom)

At least 50+ hours to create (including the original and this new video version). No arpeggios or loops used. Sorry about moments of camera blur, the synth is shaking sometimes! (I'll fix that next time!)
