You Were Meant For Me

In my frustrated attempts to create new videos to upload to YouTube, I ran across one I made a few days after I'd moved into my new house after living at my mom's for more than a year. The kids were elsewhere and I was feeling down. It was that "ending and beginning" feeling. The old life ends HERE . . . the new life begins HERE.

screwed up a few times, but the camera did pretty good, which is a change for me.

You may also notice that I'm not playing a ukulele. Well, the guitar came first, for me. And, I've tried to arrange this one for the uke but it never quite came together . . . yet.

I'm with ya. It's ironic how I came to learn the song, and was hesitant to perform it until I learned a man wrote it.  Then I heard the lyric differently, because, when you think about it things like leaving wet towels on the floor and not wiping spots off the mirror are male failings in the eyes of women. The original probably had something about leaving the toilet seat up.
