  • @en0passanted i think its because it doesnt interact with light at all

  • You're in for a treat if he is. He's an absolute inspiration!

  • Because it doesn't emit any radiation, in particular that in the visual spectrum, which is why we can't see it, hence it's dark :o)

  • this guys a fukin legend! :D

  • I love funny people... =D

  • I understood this perfectly! But if it is really transparent, why is it called dark matter?

  • Interesting stuff.

Hopefully they won't give Bush the Prize for pinpointing the Forces of Darkness....

  • Fascinating stuff....... wow I hope you are still tutoring on SXR208 in 2010!

  • Djmisp...TV :

I found your comment very interesting. There are problems interpreting data obtained from observation. Cognitive Science studies this: we understand abstract concepts through metaphors which are based on body experience. Our body determines our capacity to create concepts, so we conceptualise reality not as it is, but as we can as thinking creatures with specific cognitive and perceptual abilities. What looks curved, bay not be curved. Those curves must've been measured, I suppose.

  • random guess - the stuff inbetween the other stuff you can detect but scientists havent made a mathematical equation/theory/graphic etc or a bit like a magnet you can see it as in physically with your eyes but has unseen forces/energy which are the same yet different as in north and south which means matter =+ and darkmatter=- i'll go back to my housework hahaha xx
