  • I was stationed at Flak Kaserne in 75-77. I haven't found anything on Flak Kaserne but it is cool to see the others that I had been to many times.

  • @johnstrant That's when I was at Flak as well. I worked in the MARS Station.

  • I miss my school

  • Saying goodbye to a great town was and still is a tough thing. Augsburg treated me right. Closed the gates in 1998 and moved to Bad Aibling with the company; something never forgotten.....moving as far away as possible from that flag-pole in Darmstadt! LOL. Brothers and sisters in Arms, ditty-boppers, I will hold you in my heart. joe.B.

  • I was In Augburg from 1983-1986 at the DCA communications station on Reese under the tower. They blew up the tower and are clearing Reese and especially Sheridan for public park land.

I miss my life there. (but not the Army)

    Thank for making this available!

  • 533d MI BN......Fulda Gap....'85-88...."ground zero"

BTW, despite your best attempts to freeze my nose off, as I drove my M577 (old-school = with laterals)....before they issued us windscreens....

    F-U !!!!!

Do any of you assholes even know what a "diamond" or "hex" net is?..... how about "spreaders"?

    F-U!!!!

  • ASSHOLES!!!

I got suckered-into ARMY MI with pics of you Class-A uniform pricks in Augsburg-Munich.....big-breasted gals with beer....right?

Instead, there I was with my UC Berkeley degree, '85-'88, sitting in the snow, under "light and noise discipline"....on the FRIGGIN' FULDA GAP!!!

THE FULDA GAP = GROUND ZERO FOR WWIII

.....2+ years, "camping with guns".......on the 1K ZONE!!! ....with the 11th ACR.

    THANKS, BITCH!!!

  • In 1980 to 1883, I was stationed with the 201st ASA Company, 66MI group. flak kaserne, FRG

  • Aufwiedersehen SHERIDAN-REESE-FLAK-GABLINGEN-KASERNE

Us Soldiers THANKS A LOT FOR GOOD TIMES

  • Thank you so much. I was stationed at Sheridan with the 1st & 30th FA from 1983 to 1985,Building 125, best time I had in the Army. The memories I have of the kindness of the German people and the friends I made there will be with me for my life time. I only wish I could have revisited Sheridan. This video will be the closest I will ever get.Thank you again. Auf Weidersehen Sheridan.
