Depending on the temperature/humidity in the room, gumpaste decorations can
dry in a few hours. I usually plan on drying overnight.

Gumpaste is technically edible but you probably don't want to eat it since it dries so hard.

No, the stamens are not edible. They are purchased at a craft or cake supply store.
