The vast majority of childern undergoing repair of Tetralogy of Fallot have excellent results and have a normal quality of life.

This video series explains Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a congenital heart malformation in which blood flow is blocked from entering the lungs. Fetal Heart Program and Cardiac Center staff discuss how they diagnosis the condition before birth, monitor babies through pregnancy and delivery, and surgically repair the defect.

  • @Astonmartin4444 same i had 2 surgeries for it but im 16 and perfectly fine

  • what if the child has TOF and absent vaulve? can they still be ok after surgery?

  • @bantovic I was 1 year old when the medics diagnosticated me the TOF... Now I'm 18 and happy and healthy :)

  • Excellent video. Parents of kids with TOF should have faith as medicine can repair where nature made a mistake, and their kids to have childhood they deserve.

    Doctors work hard and develop new techniques in TOF repair and residual problems. Give kids ability to live long and happy.
