Nice, you're awesome. Thanks for saving earth. We are on the brink of catastrophic climate change. NOT. lol. Did you like my fear mongering?

Why do you blatantly ignore the arguments of sceptics, especially considering that skepticism is the most catalysing tool for scientific accuracy?

CO2 is a TRACE GAS taking up 0.038% of the atmosphere. It is absurd to assert that it has any effect whatsoever on climate or temperatures, unless it has an impossible absorption rate.

GREAT and funny comment. Thank you! (Had to make sure to read the whole thing to get it) Actually, once we've eradicated C02, we will already be done eradicating all life forms on this planet, b/c all life forms on this planet are carbon-based.

Yes, all the nasty conspiracy theorists and their desire to live on a planet rich in C02 when their very life depends upon it. Shame for the selfishness huh?

What about the fart tax?

I agree that cap-and-trade is a stupid system, but would you agree on a no-nonsense direct carbon tax (clear, easy, everyone knows what it's going to cost them and there aren't any loopholes)?

And btw, why were it the Europeans and not the Americans that ratified Kyoto, if this is another one of those "grand conspiracies against the American people by anonymous evildoers"?

If I believed that C02 was dangerous I might agree. All life forms on this planet are dependent upon C02 b/c we are all carbon-based life forms.

If we're going to cap emissions, those emissions should be TOXIC emissions. Old dinosaurs made the oil we use, it's the things man adds to the gas mixture which create a problem, so these things should be regulated. OH: The planet IS getting colder. Buy warm weather gear b/c it's going to get a hell of lot worse, and soon. (See solar flare cycle).

Maybe planet Earth won't look much the worse if CO2 levels increase, but we are a species that has adapted to this particular environment. In fact, using carbon fuels, we have over the past few centuries been able to increase the world's population by the billions. If the environment changes, Earth won't care, but we will: our way of supporting ourselves might be impaired and our coastal areas could be struck, perhaps causing billions of deaths.

The good news here is that the cat is out if the bag, thy lied about the sea level increase too. Oh, btw: it's getting much colder now and the polar icecaps have already returned to pre -1930's levels. Also, Polar bear populations are double what they were in the 1940's.

It's going to get a lot colder, and soon.

The elite banking cartels want to rule the world by controlling all life emissions, collecting the taxes. It won't help the planet.

Where do you get all that information from? It sounds a bit hard to believe, to put it mildly.
