part 48- on my vintage designer collections:
THIS WAS NOT WORN BY STACEY Q!
It is just a video to show the past and pop influences on fashion!

Video to showcase important pieces of pop Americana! I have a great collection vintage clothes worn and design by the worlds hottest pop stars of our generation and on my first episode I choose Contempo and STACY Q!

This is my first video on contemporary pop fashions of the end of the 80's early 90's and the influences fashion has on pop stars.

QUOTE FROM A PRESS RELEASE!
"Francisco Medavogs collection started off as a small sampling of some European couture designs to help him study FASHION design. By looking at the French seams and other intricacies, he learned about couture construction through the true masters of design. This hobby quickly became a collection of more than 25,000 fashion items, primarily 20th century European designs, with a number of them extending back to the 1920s and 30s.
"At first, I didn't quite understand why so many people were interested in seeing these clothes," says Francisco. "For me, the clothes were simply great examples of what I was able to study while at the Fashion Institute. Now, I feel that my collection is the beginning of a wonderful museum collection."
"I'd love to open the first American Fashion Museum, devoted solely to fashion and couture, similar to Zandra Rhodes' museum in London."

  • I just love 80's Fashion!! This would be perfect for a party and I do love leather a lot. I know this wasn't worn by Stacey Q but I would LOVE to own this outfit. I love the green belt too!

  • FINALLY someone who appreciates the high fashions of the late 80s/early 90s and it's vintage appeal. It doesn't seem like THAT long ago, but on the other hand, they don't make clothes with such structure anymore...

  • very cool!

  • The jacket reminds me of when I was growing up in the 80's! :)
