Roberta Harris: UP is a retrospective of the artists work from 1985 to the present. This art exhibit will explore the role of culturally significant symbols and their meanings in art with a focus on the concept of Hope and its complements joy, strategy, peace and imagination. Roberta Harris utilizes these thematic symbols to elicit conversation among viewers, as well as between the lone viewer and the art itself. Such discussions of hope can inspire actions that shape a better future for all.
The exhibit will run through September 6th, 2009.
