i think i know how it works, the switch either cuts power or ground path to the stepper motor of the VGT which in turn will not operate the VGT lever and will make little boost, causing it to over fuel giving it that "smoke" effect.

Why would you want to turn off the tubo? Makes no sense to me.

@brad11344 using it is a complete waste of money yea, but it doesnt cost money to put it in. its just a chunk of wire and a toggle switch. i dont use it hardly ever, but smoke switch videos seem to get a lot of youtube hits ;)

No I don't ever use it. Wastes too much fuel. Just do it for the videos really.

@mttbear ya a smoke switch in the cab cuts the power to the VGT. i also made a video of how to make one. and another demo of when i first tried it out.
