WHERE IS MY PRIVACY?

The group of activists launched an attack on Facebook, according to them because they are tired of selling information to the highest bidder.

The well-known hacker group, Anonymous, recently announced an attack on the popular social network Facebook on the 5th of November.

Anonymous has dubbed the attack operation Facebook.

Imagine visiting a Web site and this you know who we are, where we live, how old we are and who our friends in Facebook without having to stay permission to access this information. If you are registered on Facebook and visit some sites "pre-approved" of the network that have not yet been identified, these may soon have default access to data about ourselves and our friends at Facebook, announced yesterday company.

Barry Schnitt, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications and Public Policy at Facebook, told us in an email that "the right way to do this is not a new experience, but in the sense that the experience of [Facebook] Connect will be even better and more fluid. " It will offer new user controls, but this is a new experience: With this, Facebook Connect is as planet "with an option to go" than "with an option to enter."

The first to write about this proposed change was Jason Kincaid from TechCrunch, who called it "Facebook's plan to automatically share our data with sites that we have never registered."

ANONYMOUS AS WE ALL KNOW WHAT IT PROMISES TO MEET, SO A BIG INTERNATIONAL COMPANIES THREATEN AND UNFORTUNATELY ALL ITS OPERATIONS HAVE BEEN A SUCCESS.

This seems straight loss. It is nice to one-click access to our information if we decide to Facebook among other sites, that is what makes Facebook Connect, but the idea of sharing this information automatically when we enter another Web site does not really like to believe that the users. There is a difference between choosing to leave or choose to enter the "data portability".
Schnitt said: "People love the experience and social custom, so Facebook and Facebook Connect have been so successful. We believe that there are some cases where people would benefit from this experience as they arrive in a few websites give confidence to those pre-approved ".

Schnitt is who told us in an earlier interview about the fundamental change in the default Facebook privacy that users generally adjust to the default privacy settings of the company and agree with their recommendations because the world is changing for less private. He cited the growth of Twitter, blogs and reality shows as proof that the world is changing in this direction and people are less interested in privacy.

Schnitt In this interview he also recognized that the business reasons, such as page views and advertising, were some of the reasons that Facebook was turning to get away for privacy. We asked whether the new Facebook Connect with output option was the first step towards Facebook advertising network where you use our profile as a target for the network to sell ads on sites across the network. Schnitt told us that "this has absolutely nothing to do with advertising."

Do we believe this?

  • @RacyMonkey1 ''We'' Are all the same... but i don't believe your an ''anonymous follower'' because, if you was an ''Anonymous follower'' than you did know, that we dind't brought PSN down, they did it by themselfs, cause they were scared for being hacked...

  • @MrMusicLol yeah say what you want but i used to be in lulzsec and they are the ones that carry out attacks on anyone and everyone, DDoSing the shit out of the interwebs, but at least we (anonymous) have an agenda, and we actually stand for something, LulzSec is for little hackers who want to be famous for being a basement dweller. Anonymous is for people who want to stand up and do something REAL. not OTI.
