This rare recording was released only to radio in Dec. of 1999. It features the Styx lineup that went on to record the fantastic 2003 CYCLORAMA album. The lead singer of this track, Glen Burtnik, had replaced Tommy Shaw as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for Styx's EDGE OF THE CENTURY (1990), he was the composer of two new recordings on Styx's GREATEST HITS, PART 2 (1996), provided some little-known "ghost" vocals and bass playing (e.g. on the song "Number One") on 1999's BRAVE NEW WORLD, and was back in Styx full-time for that album's tour and beyond. (In this incarnation of the band, he switched to playing bass.) If you like this track, check out his excellent solo albums on iTunes, especially 2003's WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD. (I have no affiliation with any of these artists... just a fan.)
