The Visual Collider by Nina Czegledy & Marcus Neustetter
Destination: Vienna
Following its first cycle of exhibitions in Vela Luka, New York, Banff and Dalcrombie, The Visual Collider continues its journey starting in Budapest and reappearing in Bratislava, Vienna and Istanbul in the second half of 2011.
In May 1, 2011, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) - according to a press release - had uncovered the much sought-after subatomic particle - "The God particle". By employing a personal approach - The Visual Collider challenges mega-projects such as the actual LHC, asking atypical questions concerning the experimental smashing together of information whether in the form of photographic light or protons.
