Nice song! I have most of Brighter Than A Thousand Suns, but not this track. Interesting changes. I can really see where Faith No More were influenced by Killing Joke with this song.

@RuudVanPistolrooy They were (and are) a very eclectic band, which probably has something to do with them never getting a huge amount of recognition, and is a HUGE part of why they are absolutely brilliant!!

yeah this is Killing Joke killing funk. i musta played this song more than any other on the cd i have of this album, except maybe Exiles. Such awesome bass and drums - with Geordie riding over it all. Yes the sound is too polished and too clean (no surprises for the mid 80s!) but it just keeps driving and driving relentlessly and in the day it blew me away. and today too. I kinda wish they had this rhythmic clarity, drive and melody more often but with more of "Extremities" venom...

Amazing song. Pretty much perfect.

@878commando because they refused to sell out to the US market after Love Like Blood hit the charts
1 dislike did not have a victory of respect.

@878commando Yeah, I guess people weren't expecting this kind of sound after, say, 'Turn to Red', 'Land of Milk and Honey', etc etc. It was actually my first KJ album, so I didn't have that problem, heh.
BTW folks, Absolute Dissent is pretty awesome!

A lot of people hate on this album, but for me it just shows another side of KJ and yet another style of music they have total mastery over.
The play between the bass, drum and guitar parts is just superb. 5*

Haha, I didn't know the album had a bad rep... Yeah, I think it's great that KJ are THAT good at such a broad spectrum of stuff.
