@pamorj not as fanrastic as a friend of mine who does not even have a secondary school certificate who goes to china for a 4 month holiday comes back home speaking fluent mandarin just like a chinese person....so i dont believe it and i thought the guy was just bullshitting me....then i go get a chinese guy to test his skills and he is amazed beyond belief confirming his totally mastery of mandarin...thats without even going to a school....just picked it up as he went along

Xiao Jie is what I used to call them until my Beijinger wife recently told me 'Xiao Mei' (Little Sister) was more appropriate now. This is a well-done video. I do wish the beer was stronger but that is a very very minor point. I love Beijing and places like this one.

well, technically xiaojie means "miss," and I'm used to using it for waitresses, but you're right, these days it does have that alternative implication, and I really should switch to fuwuyuan "service person"
