Thankyou for allowing us to watch this amazing experience! You're right about using it to help other horse owners. I bought my first ever Gypsy mare last year and she is bagging up now, probably due in March. I feel very blessed and hope it goes aswell as Sierra's birth did :-) xxx

You know...I guess when you put something out there on you tube it's out there. Everyone has a opinion and as it should be. I made this video because it was such a special experience for me, my horse and my new filly who is now HUGE! The comment on the music...really? Is life that short to comment on my music choice, the dead comment...well she is alive and doing well. Besides making this video as a keepsake I also did it to show other horse owners a birth. Life teaches us so much...

I moved the foal because she had her on our manure pile and I was worried about cord infection. I normally would not move the foal but I tried moving the mare when she was pushing with no result. Sierra is an amazing yearling today and I have bred back Jessie for her 2nd foal due in April!!! All you fellow new horse foaling ma's...its is amazing!

Well...I do regret pulling her away from mom and breaking her cord right at her belly. I have birthed 1000's of calves and ONE filly now. My reasoning is she decided to foal her in the worst place on top of all my barn cleanings and filth so it was my intent to get her to green grass off of the manure. Once Jessie was down I couldn't get her to move off of it. Next time, will move her for sure and not interfere as I feel that is the best way. Mother nature knows what she is doing!
