hey aj this to me seams like merge to hdr video,i like this way of toning but i would prefer the merge to hdr pro but when after i use the mini bridge and select my 3 photos and then edit the sliders then i cant see the bottom of my page to click ok so i just hit enter and then all the work i just did just disappears do you know why this is can you please help.

@paperman441 - there's a good possibility that when you hit Enter, the Cancel button is actually active. My suggestion is using your mouse, click outside any of the fields so the HDR dialogue is active, then hit Enter.

Is there any advantage of the HDR toning tool over the layered method? Other than the fact it's probably quicker?

@samo26 - I would say a big advantage is speed, but you also have immediate access to controls over tonal range & contrast. I know plenty of folks who start with toning, then fine tune with layers. It is a technique I also employ.
