United Nations - New York - 22 September 2009: Actor Djimon Hounsou at the UN Summit on Climate Change.

Benin-born actor Djimon Hounsou explored issues of human rights and social justice in the films BLOOD DIAMOND, IN AMERICA and AMISTAD. Last year, Hounsou spoke before the United States Senate on behalf of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act. He is also an Oxfam Ambassador and spokesman for SOS Children's Villages.
