Recovering Files from a corrupt Windows drive

Juliandjg sent me a video, where his hard drive shows no capacity, free space, or any other information and he gets an error message about it not being accessible when he uses the Ultimate Boot CD.

This issue is likely because his file system is corrupt, which we figured from before with his Blue screen error. Now the trick is how can he get his files off the old drive before he attempts any kind of windows file system repair.

He can try using either Ubuntu or another Linux version, or if that fails going with R-Studio to get the job done.

I was first going to try the linux way but I found another software called Spotmau PowerSuite 2010 it worked kind of like the R Studio. I really liked that idea of having a computer as a recovery unit wish I had another comp to do that. Thanks for the info you are really helping me out.

I looked at that software, it seems like it's pretty much just the ultimate boot cd, rebranded with some extra recovery tools.

Definately a nice little toolkit either way.
