squadies what are they good for ? soaking up bullets when theres a war which stops them breeding new squaddies, a bunch of bullies and thugs, but when they lose a leg they cry for mummy, keep the war going in afghanistan it means less squaddies and less stinking pakis.

Armed forces going down the pan. Should just get rid of a lot of the RAF. They're all surplus to requirement!

@hoggy21 ye its only the people we dont need there not getting rid of any of us or paras or even infantry only ones which are unfit and not fit for duty

@wiganerrmc 7,000 redundancies at the minute, by 2015 i think it is, then another 19,000 by 2020. They start with the DG blokes, then move on to the guys who have served like 12 years + and who are still private soldiers. Bloody joke though, getting rid of that many regular so they can fund a bigger TA
