The gates at Belmont Road were stuck down as the Southwest Chief approached westbound and a Z train came from the west. Police were letting motorists around the gates as the signal maintainer worked in the crossing bungalow. Both trains were required to slow down and honk as per rule 6.32.2 until they passed over the crossing.

  • What? That sounds like an M5 on the BNSF engine.

  • K5HL with the 2, 3, 4a, and 5 bells reversed. Standard GEVO horn.

  • @MP36er K5HL wouldn't have the 4a bell. Just sounds different than the "Old" ones.

  • Where is this?

  • Awesome catch! I was at Naperville On Sunday and that was like the only thing that they were talking about on the scanner. Nice Catch!
