This morning on the BJ Shea Morning Experience in 99.9 KISW (The Rock Of Seattle), CM PUNK joined us to talk about Smackdown/ECW coming to town. While we had him on, I asked him about TNA Wrestling going head to head with the WWE, and he shared some interesting opinions about TNA & Hulk Hogan.

  • wait wasn't punk in tna?

  • Anyone who doesn't think Hogan joined TNA for money is a naive idiot!

  • @1Deminator Exactly

  • @sgauden02 prime vs pride

  • @1Deminator In terms of storyline, Hogan VS Punk would be EPIC. They could use real life in the storyline. Punk has critisized Hogan, and Hogan keeps doing stuff in wrestling, even though many people say he shouldn't. I think this match would have the crowd split, because Punk' the hottest thing right now, and on the other hand, it's Hulk Hogan, so people will be cheer him. But yeah, Punk would definately win.

  • @sgauden02 Punk would own! He's younger he's quicker he's overall a better wrestler.

  • Who would love to see Hogan and Punk actually WRESTLE each other?

  • CM Punk is a really funny guy and very intelligent. He enjoys his work, fans, but keeps his low profile. He's more like a really cool guy, funny human being, intelligent, and with a lot of character who happens to be a WWE Superstar. Better than the other way around.

He's also an actual fan of wrestling. I think a lot of wrestlers are, especially the younger ones, but the fan in you can be lost after some time. He hates certain fans yes, the video next to the comments is a good reason on why.

  • If you haven't gotten the new Stone Cold DVD or Blu-Ray, GET IT, MOTHERFUCKER (not just for all of Austin's best matches). Punk told the story of Hogan blowing him off after Punk went to introduce himself and offering his hand at the RAW 15th Anniversary show (correct me if I'm wrong but I also think Punk was in his first World Title reign, too).
