http://www.xewton.com Music Studio 2.0 is a free update to the existing Music Studio app.

Music Studio offers a complete music production environment for the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch with features and a sound quality previously only known to desktop applications and expensive audio hardware.

It combines a piano keyboard, 65+60 studio-quality instruments with sustain, a fully fledged 127-track sequencer with audio tracks, extensive note editing, reverb, real-time effects, microphone recording and much more on a user-friendly interface.

  • I have a question. how do you do things like crescendos, decrescendos, vibrato, and other effects like that?

  • @pcgamer11 Please ask in our forum at xewton.com, YouTube isn't the right place for support because we can't post links here.

  • Is it possible to create beats on this app, and to import them into a mp3 file?

  • @ksligh12 Yes you can create any kind of music and beats, and export it into wav and aac (m4a) format.

  • nice app. yet wen i edit the song that came with the app it keeps making the instruments bar gray(doesn't work)

  • @laladamac The instrument tab is grayed out when an audio track is selected. Tap an instrument (MIDI) track in the track list.

  • @HAsoNrEaUL in short: 127 tracks (instead of 8), a piano-roll note editor, AudioCopy/Paste, import wav/mp3/ogg/aac into audio tracks, and a greater variety of instruments.

  • Ever since I purchased the Full Version, I can gladly say that this is THE Music Synthesizer Application for the iPhone.

I've tried many of them and this one has all the Features I need.

I love re-creating songs from my Favourite Bands like a-ha. I just have a Question.

If I purchased the Separate Instrumental Packs [ Classical, World etc. ] and then re-downloaded Music Studio on one of my other iPhones, Will I need to re-purchase the Instrument Packs? Or will they be Free?

    Thanks!

  • I don't often leave comments and stuff but I have to say if you have an iPad and like messing around with music, want to get some tunes in your head out into some form of playable format then this app is a MUST! I can't believe the iPad can run such an amazing program that can do so much! Ive only started to dabble in it and already have a couple of tunes created... I suggest more instruments in the next update but seriously you gotta try this app! 10 out of 10!!!!

  • I always considered Music Studio to be just as good as FL Studio Mobile, but with the addition of the Waveform feature, Music Studio is, by far, the new king of music composition apps.

  • So I just downloaded the app and the all-in-one instrument package last night and I've had a chance to play with it some. First of all, absolutely beautiful looking interface. Secondly, phenomenal sound quality for all of the instruments. Also, thank you for making it a universal app. I downloaded on my iPad first, then my iPhone today for no additional cost. That includes the all-in-one instrument package. Very nice software. Well done!

  • I am having so much fun with this app! Definitely have only scratched the surface, but I already crave more instruments!
