Team Type 1 / World Diabetes Day: Phil Southerland and Francois of the Rwandan Center for Diabetes

http://teamtype1.org/rwanda Team Type 1 had the opportunity to educate about diabetes and hand out diabetic supplies to the children in Rwanda. The children in Rwanda typically only test their blood sugar once per WEEK or even as infrequently as once per MONTH. Team Type 1 aims to ensure that all children in Rwanda have the supplies to test their blood glucose levels at least three times per day.
