He's a LaVeyan Satanist, which essentially means he's an Atheist who embraces his bestial side, i.e. what the Bible forbids - sexuality and the like, and puts a name on it which is "Satan" because Satan always was the rebel, the opposer.

If your conception of divinity was true I'd serve a literal Satan rather than god anyways because if the christian god is as tyrannical as the bible seems to claim he's not worth serving.
