@WarblesOnALot The conclusion is based on factual observation of reality, not doubt, fog, nor dirt. If you've got a counterargument I'd love to hear it. Nobody's claiming genius status off the simple realization that life's pointless and risky, and no ANs are saying that life is "nothing but suffering". Instead of just saying it's "kinda riddled with emotive pseudo-logic", why don't you present some examples? Why don't you take issue with what's said instead of your own strawmen?

Why do you presume to know my opinion of Benatar? I think he's a decent guy but I wouldn't describe him as 'brilliant'. I'd describe him as 'correct in a lot of what he says'. I just viewed ProfessorCWI 's clip 'Why I Bury My Dead And Other Ramblings.'... How's about you go & watch it, and we may talk more. It wasn't posted when I Commented earlier... Personally I don't take it as a Strawman, nor bullshit, nor an 'ad-hominem' attack when my own Psychology is mentioned...; if I weren't who I am, I wouldn't see the world the way I do. As a bona fide Nutter, I recognise Projection ; and try to avoid it. Same with Rationalisation & Denial. They make one Nuttier. And, AN-ism IS quite focussed on prioritising Suffering, while discounting All Else.

We are also broken psychology, mostly. So if not, provide us with an example of something other than psychology for what "we" are. etc, and so forth.
