  • Balflear,

You major in computer science and said statements about gmail "and other so-called secure things" are wrong.

How are the statements wrong? Please explain.

  • Balflear,

Yes, I welcome discussions and am open to being persuaded my point of view is wrong.

One thing I remain convinced about is that the free flow of information and open discussion is a good thing.

Please clarify what you see as wrong about gmail and secure methods of communication? I am sure others would like to know as well.

  • Balflear,

I am curious: Is anyone who questions China or the Chinese government incorrect or "Bullshit" in your eyes?

  • Balflear,

You are wrong: I am full of bullshit.

I do, however, attempt to fully explain myself and enjoy a reasoned discussion with those who disagree.

I think you are not clear on the meaning of censorship.

  • Ask if this not true in USA.

  • CNN is a bullshit, western media has totally lost their trust in China and many other conturies. Because its stupid jounilists conceive news and reports!! the world see that. Before this year, maybe there are naive young people believe their reports. But now, no one believe this media has any sense of equality to talk about truth. "CNN" become a a very bad term (almost equals to "son of beatch") used frequently among the young.

  • Well, of course we are all spies [plural of spy] just like every good Chinese that reports back to their government on everything [and everyone] that doesn't walk that straight, communist line.

  • Thanks for the blunt facts about China.

On a lighter note, the sound problems are weird! At the start, things seem to be in sync, but as it progresses, the gap widens. It's the first time I've seen something like that.

Don't worry about it, though! Still a great vid!

  • are journalists mean to China??? check out the google article and you will get the insights.

  • Rebecca MacKinnon rocks!

  • typical CNN thinking, deliberately horrifying other ,loads of shit!!!

  • Thankyou for the useful info Rebecca has given. Would it be possible to have those software names she mentions listed here? Thanks alot.

  • seinisbelivin "why u ppl wanna the "media freedom " so eagerly to split our country into pieces and humiliate us"

This is the reason why in China there's no need of free media and free expression. One regime media is enough to invent the good news every day of your automaton life. No need to report the true, am I right?

  • get for real..how come brave chinese reporters even fight against censorship because they are freaking tired of oppression by that evil dictator?

    just google *Schü Siang*
