as the man said himself, he was in all likelihood as influenced by lennon as john would've inevitably been influenced by him. to think otherwise is foolish. they stand equally towering above the rest on the musical landscape.

It's almost unfair how much better Dylan is than any other songwriter of the past 50 years. I think Dylan used to drive John Lennon crazy. Lennon could beat everyone-- except Dylan. I'm sure Lennon had a heart attack when he first heard "Subterranean Homesick Blues."
