  • wow! Frankie's vocals on this are excellent. Slightly different timbre to the original record but in no way inferior. And his phrasing is as great as ever.

  • i just saw this exact show last saturday! it was AMAZING! thanks for uploading this video!

  • the guitarist's got an awsome solo, and an even more awsome afro.

  • i was just turning on the tv that day and this show was coming on. and the first thing i said to myself is "i wonder if they'll do 'tell it to the rain'". and they did and what a memory it became. and as far as that ending, well "you'll just be god damned and go to hell."

  • I love this song...am 22..born in 1988..yea my mom and dad raised me right hee

  • The ending was great. At 3:00 Frankie gets a nice big kiss from a much younger woman skater in a mini skirt.

Such a stud Frankie is around the women. They sense his essence.

  • There are so many great 4 Seasons singles that this one is often overlooked.

    Still sounds great.

  • SOME song has to be the very best song among the 60s singles. This is the one. A soul-shattering heart wrenching masterpiece!!

Just wish there was another live version in here somewhere.

One night in December 1973, Jeff Lynne from ELO was on WABX in Detroit and he had the interviewing DJ play this. Great choice that was, Jeff!

  • Can you please upload Bye Bye Baby, I know it's short but great part

  • Fantastic Job Uploading This Great Show!

Like That BUNNY On TV Frankie Just Keeps On

    GOING & GOING & GOING!!!

  • Thanks for all the Frankie skating uploads. It was a fantastic show! Would you be able to upload SPANISH HARLEM as well?
