How is this compared to the Bose, Klipsche, or Beats by Dre dock stations?

@liquidapathy82 We've not been able to do an A/B comparison with all of these docks but, short of going through a proper hi-fi system, this is easily the best I've heard my iPod sound.

@brother252525 The rWand should work with anything that utilises Apple's 30-pin adaptor.

After much research for an iPod/ iPad dock I decided & bought the Arcam rCube over B&W Zeppelin Air. Along with the rCube I also got the rWand+ & rWave dongles. While the rWave has been working flawlessly the rWand+ has had to be replaced and my second replacement stopped streaming music yesterday. When considering wireless options to stream music suggest to stay the course of established technologies which are proven to perform.

This is the problem with British reviews - they NEVER seem to give any good, critical commentary about sound quality, nor do they make direct comparisons with other products in the same class. Brits: Product reviews are ONE TIME you don't need to be so bloody tactful and polite!! Give us the nitty gritty! Where was the comparison to the Zeppelin?? What about the BLOODY SOUND? WHAT ABOUT THE BASS????

Still don't think it can beat the Zep. No where near as good looking, and although it sounds great, for £100 more than the standard Zep, hasn't got the depth of tone as the 'Nautilus' tube speakers, despite having some cool features

All those units he mentioned don't belong in the same league as this. The only thing comparable would be the Zeppelin and maybe a few others. This took 5 years to develop.

Oh and hey why didn't you play any audio? I know it probably wouldn't do a any good, I'm just itching to hear this thing. I can't wait until I have enough saved to buy one of these. Cheers m8.
