Four Men Found Dead in Nuevo Laredo Plaza Appeared to Have Been Tortured

News Source KWTX:ACAPULCO, Mexico (July 26, 2010)--"Mexican authorities were investigating whether a new drug gang has emerged after finding a message left with six bodies Monday.
Guerrero state police said the bodies of six men were found in a car in the southwestern state's capital of Chilpancingo, along with a message that read, "This will happen to all rapists, extortionists and kidnappers. Attentively, the New Cartel of the Sierra."
Also Monday, the bodies of four men were found dumped in a plaza in Nuevo Laredo, across the border from Laredo.
Tamaulipas state police said the bodies bore signs of torture.
They were found with the remains of a dog and a cat and several threatening messages.
At least seven major drug trafficking cartels operate in Mexico, but many smaller gangs operate throughout the country, often with links to the bigger groups."
