@quill18 you don't actually have to use reveal to use the vein digger. Just put the cursor over the exposed ore and use it and it will select the whole vein even if you cannot see it.

@mitchan83yt You mean with the vein digger? I don't consider that cheating -- it's more like a missing feature. In fact, it's on the TODO list for the developers. You should be able to say: See that gold over there? Mine it, and so long as you keep finding more gold behind it, keep going!

It just saves clicks. I'm not really changing the outcome of anything.

@quill18 if you go to data/init/announcements.txt and remove the ":P:R" from DIG_CANCEL_WARM and DIG_CANCEL_DAMP it will not constantly pause them game and recenter the screen on the tile when digging damp or warm stone, which makes things MUCH less annoying.

@orbb24 no, you don't have to have DF sound enabled to use soundsense. Soundsense just reads the event log text file and plays a sound based on what is in the log. It is independent of DF sounds.

Quill, the dwarves kept suspending the doors and beds because the stones in their spots were reserved for building the roof. If a stone is reserved they refuse to use it or move it at all, which is no less silly, but that's why.

And no civilizations showed up because they only show up on that screen when you meet them for the first time. I've only watched this far so I don't know if you figured that stuff out later, but there ya go.

I'm lovin the DF by the way, good stuff!
