It's my pleasure to share with you a video program from my childhood, entitled "Five Sesame Street Stories," courtesy of the fine folks at Children's Television Workshop and Golden Book Video. The entire program is shown as it is on the original VHS. I am uploading this due to people requesting this to be uploaded. I guess it's cause my YouTube Poop on this video turned out to be so popular!

Part 3 covers the story "Super Grover and the Three Bears," the third story in "The Exciting Adventures of Super Grover." When Grover's school does a play on Goldilocks, Grover mistakens actors Ernie, Bert and Herry Monster for real bears and sends them to a zoo!

NOTE: The reason why Ernie and Herry do not speak is because Jim Henson and Jerry Nelson were unavailable to do voices for this video.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

  • XD I remember this tape, I used to have it, i probably still do O_O

  • @BKDBrian2 Actually it's also a clever possible in-joke, as Fozzie Bear and Bert were both voiced by Frank Oz (now Eric Jacobson)

  • @Jessyleppert That's because he's pretending to be one of the three bears.

  • The ending was just CLASSIC!!!.

  • Bert looks like Fozzie Bear.

  • Can I just say that this excites me SO much! Ahhh! Thank you!

  • @Cailey1Olson4 Also the song that plays at 1:43 is "Will He, Won't He" by David Lindup.

  • wasnt this on tv or vhs ? i rememeber watching these as a kid <3

  • Here are some musical identifications in this video:

0:07 - "Pocketful of Peanuts" by Duncan Lamont

0:36 - "March of the Ants" by Sydney Crooke

3:39 - "Pals" by David Lindup

  • I must admit that if the two "inbetween bumpers" were on the "Five Sesame Street Stories" which of course they are not, the first one would come on between the Speeding Sled and Three Bears stories while the second one would go just before the Big Bird Brings Spring story.
