the fact is usa cant play outside there own country. format for qualification should change back to how it used to be then the usa would really struggle to qualify .
YUP! Typical American arrogance at it's best! They get dominated and they always have to make up anexcuse as to why...I mean, couldn't it be that the other team just played better that day? Imagine that concept. Just like when Mexico dominated them at the Azteca and controlled the ball practically the entire game, the excuses were, and still are many.
Except for MEXICO! LOL.....but yeah man...that stadium is bad ass! My dad and I flew from LA to San Jose to watch Mexico play against Costa Rica and it was awesome! The Costa Rican people were wonderful to us and I will definitely be back. Great atmosphere, great people (Hardly any trash talking) and we felt safe at all times. I fell in love with the country and it's people because of how they treated my dad and I. ARRIBA COSTA RICA! ARRIBA LOS TICOS!
Hopefully they will do better in Azteca Stadium against the Mexicans.
Alas, their performance in the Confederation Cup pretty much guaranteed that Bradley wouldn't be sacked before the World Cup. I would've much rather seen USA get shellacked 3 times if it meant they'd be getting a better coach...
There's some american players that i would like to see given more of a chance to see their worth such as ARTURO ALVAREZ (very creative mid), CHARLIE DAVIES, TORRES, etc. let's get more of a south american flare in there. alvarez and torres i feel would be great contributors to a more attractive game.
The USA is not a good soccer team. No better way to put it. There is no flow of passing, no shots being taken, no great dribbles or complex play... And i don't see any way out until there is a coaching change, and a change of lineup. if there was a world class coach, we wouldn't have lost star players like Guiseppe Rossi (Villareal), Subotic (Borussia Dortmund), and more, to other national teams. We have no creative midfielders or great strikers.
