Tempted S1 E13

(Demi's POV)

"Joe! Come on, let me explain!" I banged on his bedroom door but he continued ignoring me. "Joe, I didn't have sex!"
"What?!" There he stood, the door bouncing against the wall from his strong force.
"I'm still a virgin." I said quietly.
He raised an eyebrow at me, "You're still a virgin?"
"Yes! I'm just on the pill for emergency purposes. Just in case I did..."
"And you've thought about it already? After less than a month??" He asked.
"Hey, you shouldn't be talking! You have sex with random girls you don't even know. I pushed him aside so I could walk into his room. I sat on top of his desk as he closed the door and leaned against it.
"That's different."
"How?" I asked.
"It just is, okay?" He responded.
"Whatever. I'm sorry you were confused. Of course I would tell you if--" I was interuppted by the sound of my phone ringing in my pocket. I took out my cell, it was Tony. "Sorry, Joe. Hold on." I flipped open my phone and put it to my ear, "Hello?"
"Hey baby." Tony's voice rang through the phone.
"Hello stranger." I replied coldly.
"I know. I miss you baby, why didn't you call me back?"
I looked at Joe as I answered, "Call you back...?" Joe's body stiffened.
"Yeah, I called and Joe said you were out. I had a surprise for you for our one month anniversery and he said you were busy and that you'd call me back but you didn't."
"He did?" I gave Joe a questioning look and he fiddled with his hands awkwardly. "Listen, that's very sweet of you, how about tomorrow?" I asked."Sounds good, babe."
"Alright, talk to you tomorrow, bye." I hung up the phone and marched right up to Joe. "WHAT THE HELL, JOE?!" I yelled in his face.
"Wh-whoa, whoa, whoa! You did already have plans!" He responded.
"You lied to me! Why didn't you tell me he called?" I tried to quiet my voice but it didn't work.
"I--I..."
"Why?!" I spat.
"I didn't want you to cancel on me." He said.
"Oh...I see what's going on." I responded.
"You do?" He looked surprised.
"You're afraid being with Tony is going to interfere with our friendship." I said quietly, "Look Joe...you're always going to be my best friend and you'll always come first. But you can't lie to me!" I put my hands on his shoulders and he looked up, running a hand through his sloppy dark curls.
He rolled his eyes and lifted my hands off of him. "What?" I said.
"No."He turned around, colliding his fist against the wall.
"Joe. What is going on?!" I said, putting my hand on his shoulder.
"You don't understand." He said, his back still towards me.
"Then enlighten me." I replied in a soothing tone. Before I could figure out what was going on his body had turned around and his right hand was on the back of my neck, his left pulling me in by my hip as as his lips crashed into mine.
