"THE GHOST WHO RIDES"
1937 Lincoln-Zephyr 3-window coupe, VIN # H30748
This daily driver is RARE; the Lincoln Zephyr Owner's Club estimates less than 400 of these unusual and distinctive cars have survived. Kustom street rod named THE PHANTOM ZEPHYR, taking years, this all steel one piece welded body and frame is the original unitized construction. Designed by John Tjaarda of Brigg Manufacturing Company; (one of the Ford Motor Company's body suppliers), the Zephyr is hailed as advanced in both Art Deco styling and construction by the New York Museum of Modern Art, who recognized the 'teardrop' Lincoln Zephyr as the first streamlined car in America. The car was the style leader among American automobiles in the years before WW II.
