Rebooting/ Hacking Macy's Price scanner 2 (Better view, and I also get caught!)

I was rebooting and exploiting the vulnerability in the system by pausing the software while it tried to load so I could get access to WinCE but some asshole said that he couldn't have me "Changing their software". I wasn't changing anything, I was just browsing it as if it were a normal computer. I hate it when employees ask you if you need help and when you say no they still bother you.

I did this at Macy's and what i did is just minimized the loader while its loading so i could put it back when some employee gets me

@iTechNetwork I don't have access to an MK500 in any stores where I live but I just looked at the manual and it said "If an MK500 is configured to launch an application on power-up, you can bypass the application at boot-up to access to the Windows® CE desktop." Basically just reboot it and cancel out or "pause" the app similar to what I did in this video.

So what happened after you got caught? What did they do about you?

He didn't do anything, I just rebooted it again so it could go back into Kiosk Mode & I walked away.

i had no idea that the touch screen thing that my mom uses at stores had windows CE in it! cool!!!

Oh idk because my cellphone cam is pretty crappy plus I wasn't even paying attention to the music during the recording.

oh damn, well i guess its time to find another kiosk to hack maybe one thats not stripped down. and maybe one thats out of the way where you wont get caught.
