1/ First , turn on your radio and reducethe volumeso, low that you can barely hear the station that your radio is tunned to. leave your radio turned onand install the Supertone as Follows:
Simply cut the aerial wire leading to the radioset , scrape ends welland attach each end to posts " A" Arial and "B" Radio. If you do not wish to cut aerial wire, just disconnect it from the machine and attach to Post A of The Supertone . Then get another wire to connect from post B of The '' CONT PART 2'

Hi Five , I have one these units , original box , instructions . Made in about 1932 , and basically , a wave trap . Top Left AERIAL , Top Right TO SET. SIX TAPS : Turn to Till MAX VOLUME. Turn other knob till mAx Volume. The Radio from beginning must at barely heard volume , then proceed. Bottom right is for no more 50 foot aerial length. The instuctions are a bit unclear , with their wording . I dont have a scanner either to forward to you

;p you need to get it x-rayed. Best way to find out what is inside without opening it up. THOUGH with today's tech, you maybe could super glue a string to one of them studs, remove the nuts, drop the stud in, then feed in a camera same as they do for video of the inside of a heart... that may mean a University Teaching Medical School and a student looking for off hours work XD
Hi All , i did send a prvious meassge , But I buggered it up . Did you ever get that SUPERTONE running . I was wlaking around the room the other day , and I saw it , so I thought I would ask . Cheers Pete THE RADIOGRAMBLOKE . i built a tester unit thatmight interest you . If search radiorambloke , you will see it on YOU TUBE , there is 3 rebuilds , Look for the one Universal sound tester 001

of T^he Super Tone to the arial post on you radio. Then turn Dial D " 6 TAPS " where Maximum volume is received. Then turn dial C '' just under A and B for maximum volume is obtained . Bottom right hand side is for longer arial , where I will have to come bcak to you .
This is similair to a tracking arial operation , basically , increased signal , less volume , more clarity . " W.S. Hill Mfg. Co., Inc. 619 - 8th Street , DES MOINES IOWA. original box posted 19/02/1932. I havnt use min yet

My guess would be that it's a tuning device for instruments, judging from the picture on the box, in particular harps. Maybe the multiple switch allows the selection of various standard pitches?

It is weird that a manufactured radio has no labeling. I did find some information on it, but not much. Enough to say that it is a radio or part of one. Thanks.
