In an effort to rid himself of the phantom dachshund that's been plaguing him for months, Skelton Knaggs begins his very cheap therapy at the discount mental health clinic, where he's subjected to electroshock, acupuncture, and sporting activities involving a bow, an arrow, and a cat. We learn of his science fiction movie career, his arrest at church after an altercation with old ladies, and his issues with both laundry and baking cookies. As his problems with the dog are cured, his problems with inanimate objects begin. And as he concludes his very cheap therapy, he takes on a new job in marketing.
